A 4:12.13 in the 400 IM leads a three-event set that also includes breaststroke and distance freestyle.

Clara Seemann of Overland Park, Kansas, has verbally committed to Georgia for fall 2028. She trains with Empire KC Swim Club and has raced well across events that ask for different kinds of endurance: the 400 IM, 1000 free, and 200 breast.

At last winter’s Junior Nationals West, Seemann finished seventh in the 400 IM. She later won the 200 breast and took second in the 1000 free at Columbia Speedo Sectionals. Her best short course yard times in those races are 4:12.13, 2:11.94, and 9:49.66. She has also been 4:49.44 in the 500 free.

The 400 IM was the standout when we compared those three swims with Georgia’s current recorded times. The 1000 free and 200 breast also reached ranges represented on its roster.

In a separate comparison of 36 Power Four schools where a submitted time reached the faster end of a roster’s recorded swims, Georgia was 2nd. Her 400 IM provided that comparison; the place applies to this group of schools.

For this look back, we entered the published short course yard times on October 25, 2026 against the 2025–26 roster snapshot.
