Wendy Zeiss announced that she has verbally committed to Fresno State for fall 2027. She swims for Blast Sharks in the Los Angeles area and attends Immaculate Heart High School, bringing a mix of individual medley and butterfly events to the Bulldogs.
Her short course yard bests include 4:29.22 in the 400 IM, 2:08.55 in the 200 IM, and 2:07.01 in the 200 fly. At the 2026 CIF Southern Section Division 3 meet, she made the final in both the 200 IM and 500 free. Her college comparison below uses the faster club times, rather than those high school meet results.
Fresno State was 3rd among the schools Match returned for those three times. The 400 IM and 200 IM gave the clearest roster comparisons, while the 200 fly added another event to consider.
The two IM swims are the heart of this read: each reached a range represented on Fresno State’s current roster. The 200 fly adds another event to keep an eye on as she finishes her senior year.
For this look back, we entered the published short course yard times on October 25, 2026 against the 2025–26 roster snapshot.
